Here at Clear Creek Makerspace we aim to provide the tools and equipment that allow members to create whatever they can imagine. We hope to support all levels of users in the community. From new hobbies to prototyping to full on small-scale production for your business, we are here to enable you to take things to the next level. We are also here to support established businesses. We offer the training and tools to enable you to create your own branded materials to allow you to take ownership of your branding, all while being more cost-effective and efficient.

With a shared space comes community. We aim to facilitate the best community possible for our members. We provide lounge areas to mingle, conference and training rooms to come up with the next great idea, classes to help you get your business idea off the ground, and online resources to give and receive advice, find business partners, and of course, make some new friends!

Hey Makers! It's about time we gave you an update on the Clear Creek Makerspace. Please give a warm welcome to our new teammate, Tyler Kerr!

Tyler Kerr is the new program manager for the Clear Creek Makerspace! From an early age, Tyler was an avid maker, scientist, tinkerer and, much to his parents' chagrin, a keen disassembler of treasured family electronics. He studied paleontology in both college and graduate school, with a particular focus on fossil whales -- officially making him a 'whaleontologist.' Before joining the Localworks team, Tyler worked as a STEAM educator and ultimately as director of Wyoming's Innovation Wyrkshop makerspace network, one of the largest academic makerspace networks in the Mountain West. His interests include 3D printing, digitization, and developing creative, gamified, out-of-the-box nerdy ways to engage communities and teach complex topics in meaningful ways. When he's not in the makerspace, you can find Tyler and his partner Kate camping, hiking, and generally trying (and failing) to stop their three dogs from eating and rolling in weird stuff they find in the forest.

Welcome to CCM, Tyler!

Will you be attending #Ridgefest this Saturday? One part of Ridgefest is Makers on the Ridge! Makers on the Ridge supports the growing creative and maker community in Wheat Ridge and in the surrounding Denver Metro area.

This event is for anyone who likes to learn, make, build or create. Participants can include tech enthusiasts, crafters, scientists, garage tinkerers, artists and more. Think of Makers on the Ridge as a craft fair focused on the creators. At this event, you can buy handmade goods, talk to artists about the process they use to make their art, learn a new skill, or network with local artisans, makers and creators.
