Congrats to our Math & Make graduates! 🎉
Last Friday, we welcomed more than 200 attendees at our Math & Make student project showcase. Thank you for joining us to celebrate these incredible students!
Over the course of the 6-week Math & Make program, our Robert Welter Fellows built core STEAM skills while learning to use equipment in each of our 3 shops to create a unique final project. Each of the helpful, expressive, lucrative, or transformative projects—ranging from a drone prototype to a custom guitar effects pedal to a music box to a recreation of a Mayan calendar—were created using donated, recycled, or repurposed materials, and represented a culmination of their learnings in the program.
Though Math & Make has concluded, several students already have plans for future projects, and every graduate was awarded a stipend plus a full year of CCM membership upon completion of the program. We’re so proud of our students!

This summer, CCM is hosting 17 high school students for Math & Make, a 6-week STEAM education program designed to teach complex mathematics through practical application. After weeks of designing, building, testing, and problem-solving, our Robert Welter Fellows are ready to share what they`ve created!
Join us for the Math & Make Student Project Showcase on Friday, July 31 from 5:00-7:00pm at Clear Creek Makerspace. Meet the students, explore their final projects and prototypes, hear the stories behind their work, and celebrate an incredible summer of creativity, innovation, and hands-on learning.
From the Fab Lab to the Woodshop and Metal Shop, these young makers have turned ideas into reality—and we`d love for you to help celebrate their accomplishments.
